I hope that all of our Room 16 families had a restful Spring Break. We are back into our routines once again as we begin the final quarter of fourth grade! Where has the time gone?
Just a reminder of our ongoing homework assignments:
We continue to have weekly Word Wisdom assignments, assigned on Monday and due on Thursday, followed by our weekly Friday post test.
Each week we also spend time daily, Monday through Wednesday, working on grammar through our sentence sheets that help us to prepare for doing our own grammar corrections on Friday's paragraph. Our green Write Source book is an important study resource as well.
Math Homework and Remembering assingments come home at least three days a week and often 4-5 times per week. They are always due the next school day.
There may, in addition, be times when your child must bring home an in class assignment to complete. This may occur for the whole class, or at times for individual students who may not use the time that they are given in class as wisely as they could have.
Daily checking of your child's assignment log is highly suggested. It is an important communication tool between school and home as well as a great conversation starter for you and your child.
Important Dates
April 28-29 4th grade M-STEP testing
May 5-7 4th grade M-Step testing
May 1 Muffins with my Special Lady
May 8 Bemis Daze
May 12 Historical Hall of Fame (Wax Museum)
